Notes on the FP Journe Octa Automatique Lune

Master watchmaker F.P. Journe of Geneva presents the latest creation of the Octa Lune series. Revealing a dial with a better visible reading of the time and a date twice as large as the previous version.

The watch featured is the 42mm platinum case with light brown alligator straps and platinum deployant buckle.  The patterned 'tobacco brown' dial is a pleasing contrast with the white hour indicators/markers and the tear drop white hands of the watch. 

The mechanical movement with automatic winding (F.P. Journe in-house calibre 1300.3) is manufactured in 18k rose gold. It is a movement system using a 22k gold rotor for an extremely efficient winding of the mainsprings.
